Published in 1992, with photography by Steven Meisel, SEX depicted a rarely clothed Madonna in various sexual situations alongside a who's who of guest stars -- and the book was a runaway success. Though its release did not go without controversy and backlash, to this day, SEX remains the fastest selling coffee-table book and is one of the most sought-after, out-of-print books in the country.
